I live about 5+ hours SW of Oshawa but it got really cold at night. High 20s low 30s and we even had a day of snow flurries. I imagine they had similar weather.

mine shipped yesterday. I just know it's gonna get here either next Thursday, Friday or Saturday when I'm out of town.

That is good news.....Can you tell me how you confirmed it shipped?

Chevy Customer service told me mine was out yesterday (for Hood wrap) and it was confirmed today status was 4300 (intermittent delivery). I am hoping it ships, but do have a concern that it will get bayed upon its return to the plant......Time will tell.

I just did the chat deal also, and the girl said that she could only see that it was on hold and offered no additional information. I suggested how disappointed I was, and she responded, very politely that there was not other information available tome at this point. I thanked her for her help, and then pushed the envelope a bit asking if I wanted to cancel the order, if that should be handled through the dealer. She again very professionally said that would be the case. She then thanked me for contacting GM. That was it. I get that they can not tell us anymore, and I have no plans to cancel my order. The moral of the story is we are going to get our cars when we get our cars!

I just used the Chat feature and found out my car is now Bayed :(

What ever the issue is, it is not affecting the ability to drive it as yesterday and this morning it was out getting the Hood Wrap install....hmmm

As we try to figure out why the cars are being bayed so long (for fun to pass the time), the only two options we have on our black 1SS is the 1LE package and the BA speaker system. I am pretty sure the speakers are ok, so I assume it is to do with 1LE package or the base car.

I have the BA speakers, NPP and back up Camera.

From all the threads gathered of baye cars it has only been 1LE and ZL1. So using that reasoning it is a component shared with both but not standard SS or V6 models.

Pick one: wheels, tires, rear wheel bearing, axles, toe links, steering wheel, rear shock mounts and shift knob. But who knows?

i bet it was something silly like they didn't have enough shift knobs or HUD :s
