A quick spec sheet:

2010 Camaro SS
Heads, cam, exhaust etc (489rwhp/454rwtq)

Full Pfadt Racing Suspension (Coil-overs and pretty much everything else)
Brembo Big Brake Kit

The car has been driven and raced in Kentucky, Georgia, Arizona and many more places and actually done quite well. Won several SCCA Auto-x events, and has lapped Sebring, Daytona, Moroso and Homestead 100's of times.

A few shots!

I second this. It's up to the forum majority though.

BMR Suspension 11-25-2010 11:49 PM

I'll be glad to do it. The BMR mule car has 650 RWHP and has run high 10s in the quarter mile. The car has a Magnuson supercharger, Kooks headers, Magnaflow exhaust, and internal engine work.

Of course, the car has a full BMR suspension including many test parts that are not yet available to the public:
  • BMR Coilovers
  • BMR sway bars
  • BMR delrin rear cradle bushings
  • BMR rear suspension bushings
  • BMR front suspension bushings
  • BMR sub frame connectors
  • BMR driveshaft tunnel brace
  • BMR driveshaft safety loop
  • BMR trailing arms with spherical bearings
  • BMR lower control arms
  • BMR toe rods with rod ends
  • BMR strut tower brace
  • BMR end links

The car runs on Mickey Thompson 18" 305 drag radials on the drag strip and Toyo 20" R888s on the road course. The BMR car has a one piece aluminum driveshaft and G Force 300M rear axles, so nothing in the drivetrain is going to break at the event.

I am a veteran drag racer with the NMCA and NSCA (raced in over 60 events). Some of you know me as Rockin' Al Miller or maybe you know my black C4 Corvette (fastest NA Corvette according to Corvette Forum). I am the test driver for all BMR Suspension mule cars for both road course testing and auto-crossing. I was also the winner of the Speed Stop Challenge at the Holley LS Fest (second place was more than 0.5 seconds slower than me).

By the way, the owner of Royal Purple (sponsor of Forum Wars) uses BMR Suspension products on both of his Camaros.

The BMR mule car is one of the best all around 2010 Camaros out there and I have a ton of racing experience. There are very few camaro5 members that are in a better position to bring home the gold for our forum.

Got to admit, Eric is one bad mf'er behind the wheel.....

Seen him drive at the SuperCar Experience and should represent Camaro5 at the Forum Wars and spank that Challenger............. :respekt:

Robbie1227 11-26-2010 02:45 PM

I also nominate Erik @ Torq as well.
Besides the fact that his SS Camaro is absolutely bad ass! He is a true professional, extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and knows these cars inside and out.
I had suspension work done at his shop. While I was waiting, I was shown around and treated with the utmost respect. Thanks to him, I am preparing my SS for Road Racing in 2011! :happyanim:
He should definitely represent us at the Forum Wars.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your responses! Both Erik@Torque and Camaro21 are perfect candidates. I'd like to give it a few more days before we make a selection. What's important is that whoever is selected has the full backing of Camaro5. I'd also like to make sure that the car is fairly matched with the Challenger we find. Keep submitting other cars/drivers as well.
Paul

Thanks for the consideration Paul. To see what upgrades I have done to my car, please check out my Car of the Week thread here:
