Detailers at Camarofest?

Do any detailers bring their trailers and wash and/or polish, apply coatings, etc. at CamaroFest?

Is it allowed?

Yes, Morris Auto Detailing is one of our vendors.

He sets up at the hotel and also at the track.

Yep going need a wash and detail upon arrival :D

If I am able to purchase a portable buffer, I can do a couple basic details for some folks. Or at least do a small section as a free sample. Still plenty of time though.

He does basic hand washes no polishing or wax at the hotel unless you talk to him prior to CamaroFest. So just keep that in mind. Not sure what he does at the track.

I’ve been to one camarofest. Use the wastecan in the hotel room as a bucket and do your own Rinseless....I would’nt use a detailer for anything else, there are times there was a lot of dust in the air and I wouldn’t want anything done there , that I had to argue with somebody a long way away if I got home and it was’nt right, like a coating. JMO.....this was particularly true of front end XPEL type work, guys got home and found problems and the local guy would not fix it for free.

He did it all at the track. In fact he turned that 84 Camaro Pace Car with ~50 miles on it in to a brand new car. It was basically sitting in a barn since it was new.

I think I’d bring a 3.5 gal bucket instead of using the hotel room trashcan LOL!

Have you ever tried it? then don’t knock it....... I’ve done it several times in hotel rooms across United States, the plastic wastecan your room works perfect for a 2.5 gallon rinseless....hotel policy is they use a liner so the waste can is perfect. I don’t like hauling crap around when then I don’t have to..... it takes up a lot of space......also, washing out a novistretch bra in the sink, takes care of the front end, no cleaning necessary.

But I assume you’ll be taking tons of crap from reading your posts....to each his own....”LOL”

Last year the Holiday Inn had a couple of hoses out some car wash soap and buckets to wash your car by the loading docks, I brought our shampoo and detail stuff from home but it was nice to have a place to wash the car after the trip from Wisconsin. Hopefully they will do that again.
