F-Body Summit 2009

From our Dear Fbodfather:

Good afternoon Camaro Comrades and Firebird Friends!

As most of you know, we try to plan an 'End of the Season' Camaro/Firebird show each year -- - it's one last time to see your friends and make some new ones....before the weather turns cold here in the midwest............

It started with the Fbody Invasion at the National Corvette Museum wayyyyy back in, as I recall, 2000 --

................and then of course we had the 2010 Camaro "Unveil" at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last September with our Friends, the Central Indiana Camaro Club as our Gracious Hosts.

This year the NEOCC (North East Ohio Camaro Club) has planned a SPECTACULAR event for ALL CAMAROS and FIREBIRDS...........

It will be held at SUMMIT RACING EQUIPMENT -- at the intersection of Interstate 76 and State Route 532 -- you can 't miss it!

SATURDAY and SUNDAY -- SEPTEMBER 12 and 13 --

>>>>CHEVROLET AND THE NEOCC ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE'LL HAVE A 2010 CAMARO 'RIDE AND DRIVE' FOR ALL LICENSED DRIVERS OVER THE AGE OF 21 ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12<<<<

>>>>PLUS -- SOME SPECIAL GUESTS FROM "TEAM CAMARO" AT GENERAL MOTORS<<<<<

>>>>>>>>>>AND -- SATURDAY EVENING BBQ -- BUT YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER!!!!<<<<<<<<<<

GO HERE TO LEARN MORE AND TO REGISTER: http://NEOCC.homestead.com

We hope to see you there!

FYI...I know a lot of folks tend to travel with their pets these days (believe me - Chevy goes with us everywhere possible). It's come to my attention that several people have asked about bringing their pets to the Saturday night BBQ. Upon checking into this, pets unfortuntately are NOT permitted. Please understand that these are the facilities rules, not ours and we hope this doesn't cause an inconvenience for anyone.

Looks like if we do go (and it's looking like we will), we'll go to the show on Saturday (aka my birthday :D), and then head up to Cleveland and do stuff for Sunday, then head home.

We only need to pregister for the Saturday BBQ right? So I can still show up if I don't plan on attending the BBQ correct?

Yes you can show up for the show itself without attending the BBQ or pre-registering but, it will cost you more. If you pre-register by 8/25 the judged class will cost you $20.
Day of show it will cost you $25. Same with display class $10 if you pre-register by 8/25. Day of show will cost you $15. Absolutely no Camaro will be allowed at the show without registering (Either pre-registration or registration the day of the show) NO FREEBEES TO PARK YOUR CAMARO The bbq is off-site after the show on Saturday 9/12. It is an addition to the event. :happyanim:

Just wanted to remind everyone of a few things:

1.The PRE-REG DEADLINE IS TUESDAY, AUGUST 25....all entries must be postmarked on/before this date.

2.You MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED FOR THE SATURDAY NIGHT BBQ.

3.To those who have (or will be) pre-registered....your confirmation letters will be going in the mail on August 26.

Hope you're already made plans to be there or will be making plans soon....We're looking forward to seeing everyone!!! :)

Thanks - ItIsWhatItIs - for the explanation too!! ;)
