go to home depot talking one of the tunnel brace bolts with you and get some spacers. I put 3 spacers on each bolt (4 bolts total needing 12 spacers) and that lowered the tunnel brace low enough that I don't get that d@mn rattle anymore. Talk about a pain in the rear, man. That rattle drove me nuts. Just drop that tunnel brace and put it back in place with those spacers. It will lower it about a quarter of an inch and that's all that you need to prevent the hitting of the exhaust pipe to the tunnel brace. Cost? $2.30 (vs buying a new special tunnel brace for $100.00)....even thought that new tunnel brace looks cool as sh!t....lol

I sooooooooo need to do that. I'm just worried it may be above my skill level.

That is cool. Look whose hands were the dirtiest. Now we know who REALLY did the muffler swap. Just 'cause she fits under the car better than you doesn't mean she had to do it all herself...:)

Also, he was eyeballing that exhaust more than Dad. How LOUD is it? :D

I think the titanium tunnel brace is worth at least another 10 rwhp.

i just helped my friend swap in an off-road mid pipe on his RX8 today & i got dirtier than him!
car sounds better, though & smells rich!!

Agreed. I saw two of them for sale. but, I thought only one of them actually sat lower giving a larger space to prevent the hanging exhaust from touching the brace.
