MY PLANS FOR MY 2010 CAMARO:

2010 SIM 2SS/RS, black interor

Mods up to date:

-custom painted bowties (flat black with SIM middle)
-LED DRLs
-Adaptive Performance DRL Harness
-AACstyle interior LED conversion kit (white)
-AACstyle license plate LEDs
-MGW shifter know
-chrome turn signal bulbs to give a clear look
-Lloyd's custom floor mats
-Camaro SS black license plate frame

Possible future mods:
-Tints
-Side vent decals from RPI Designs (most likely the ABS black plastic)
-AAcstyle ABL footwell lighting
-MGW short throw shifter
-Exhaust, not sure which one yet :bellyroll:
-Intake, most likely roto-fab or halltech
-Silver door and dash panels

question. what does a GMPP catback exaust do? improve power or sound or both? and how much do they usually cost with installation?? just wonder, because I may be considering that upgrade but I am not that car upgrade savvy as many ppl on here are.

Chevyrocker 04-06-2009 03:55 PM

Any exhaust (cat-back or full) will upgrade both sound and power.

$$$?

Chevyrocker 04-06-2009 04:04 PM

go to www.gmaccessories.net, pick a dealer and pull up the Camaro and it will show you prices including installation.

Cat-backs on the C6 vettes did nothing for power only sound. The camaro stock exhaust could be more restrictive. I would have to wait till somebody did a comparison on a dyno. My thoughts for now is just do a cam with headers, electric cutouts with stock mufflers. Headers w/hiflow cats and deleting the resonators should increase the sound.

I dont blame him on that. My son is 17. He will be riding around in a 12 year old pickup till he learns how to respect horsepower.

:iono:does anyone know actually if the door sills say camaro or Chevrolet? because in photos I have seen in comes with the ones that say Chevrolet, but on the accessories website they say Chevrolet also.:iono:

Every thing in mind is good for you plan but IMO if you are getting an LS3 that is the wrong cover and the mud gaurds i am not too sure about i would have to see them installed first none the less the perfect engine covers would have to be the original LS3 Corvette look it really looks amazing and really choice..........:headbang::bellyroll:

At first i really did not want to get the molded splash guards but I am going t be driving it a lot, so I don't want it to get scratches or get dirty or something.
