Aux Gauge Harness (thank you Darth Martel)

Long story short, I bought the Aux Gauge console with the gauges from a member here. When I received the gauges I found out that I needed the harness that came with the kit. Since I did not buy the kit, I did not have the harness that is not sold separately from the kit. I contacted Darth Martel here from the forums (Jonathan) seeing that he had built the steering wheel button harness, I asked him if he could maybe have the time to build me a harness for the Aux Gauges. After all the research he did and follow-ups, He finally came through and build me a harness that is identical to the one sold with the kit. I hope this thread is in the right forum because I want you all to know that Jonathan is an outstanding member and truly contributes to this site.....

if any of you are considering buying a console out of a wrecked car, or anything like that, do it!!! contact Jonathan to see if he can build you a harness...his stuff is top quality, OEM type stuff... here are some pics of his build:

Damm GM...spent about two hours with a great parts guy here who searched and called all over Gods green acre trying to find this wire harness, only to hit roadblocks at everyturn.

Although GM knows about this part, has this part, it has a part # from GM, is part of a "kit" thhat GM has, they WONT sell them here in Canada! WTF

Looks good, just tell him to invest in some heatshrink tubing and solder.

Looks awesome man =D Just installed mine not long ago. Still love them, it's just more interior eye candy =D

Two wheel mayhem, there is heat shrink tubing and solder used for the splices. The butt crimps you see are because 2010IMBSS had the Aux gauge end of the harness with the wires coming out. I simply made the passthru part of the harness with the 3 wires spliced in for the Aux gauges and put butt crimps on the end so all he had to do was strip the 3 wires and crimp them. I even labeled the crimps for the appropriate pin on the Aux gauge connector. The guys that have received the steering wheel harnesses I've built can attest to the fact I don't build anything half-assed. By the way, where in Indiana are you located? I work in Indy.

I can build pretty much any harness that the Camaro uses. I just need to get the connectors for them and sometimes that is NOT an easy task. Most of the manufacturers have a minimum order amount in the hundreds. I've been dealing with it for years. It's very frustrating when you only need like 3 of something.

Jonathan, the harness is great!! I do not considered it half-ass at all, Thanks for everything...
