Brembo brakes question

For the SS, are these set to come in silver like most of the pics we see or red as in a few of the concept pics I've seen?

Hopefully red...it will make it look more aggressive

I agree, like this guy-------> :mad0260:

The kit is not to hard to use. Duplicolor makes one. Also another option is to put the car on jackstands. Then take off the calipers and strip them down to the body. Then have them powdercoated to the color of your choice. It's more durable than the paint kit. Was also thinking powdercoating would be a nice option for the stock steel rims.

If the BREMBO'S aren't RED, I will paint them RED.

That's my plan exactly. I haven't seen red Brembo's since the shots at the 'Ring so I'm a bit worried. But, if they don't come in red (can't imagine why not?) I'll just have them powder coated. I was going to get the wheels powder coated black also.

The only reason I can see for silver is that it's more neutral. But they should just stick to red as it's kind generally accepted color for performance calipers.

I'm pretty sure it's been determined that they will not be red...unfortunately.

I think the silver would hide brake dust and grime better. That's not to say I'd prefer red however. At least there are options you have to paint them whatever you want ;)

Silver Brembos + red spray paint = Red brembos.

Not the best solution, but definitely one of the cheaper ones.

You would have to disassemble them first of course.

:word: And for this reason I hope they offer them in the V6 (w/RS) as well, those big wheels have too much open space and need some nice big red brembo calipers to fill them up.

Gimme silver. I've never cared for the color red. I wish you could keep the silver 'SS' on the RS/SS instead of having a red 'SS'.

It could still be red or optionally red. I agree SS should be red that's the tradition.
