Yeah there is doubt I need more seat time, just the difference from DR to slicks was unreal, the first pass I hit the limiter twice it just got through the gears so fast, and I have only made about 8 passes with the 3.91 gears so I am still getting used to them. But they gained me 1-1.5 mph as I get into 4th sooner and can run 140 in 4th so no worries about having to shift again.

I made 4 -5 passes on the slick the other night and each pass was faster and a better 60ft time.

Awesome, make sure not to get your airpreasure to low

Yeah I did 15psi first pass then down to 14, I think I will go back to 15. 14 was really squirmy on the big end. I am going to get a 2 step to get my launch rpm consistent.

The moral of the story is Everything has to work together smoothly.

This take lots of hard work.

You can't just buy an ET you have to earn it.

Ted.

You want squirmy try running 15" slicks at 6.5 pounds. Air down to best traction and ignore the squirm.

Then it took another 6 months to see another 9 second pass. Thankfully it only goes 9's now. Except when it breaks!:pout: But it goes on 10.0 at 142 on 6 cylinders.

I always have to remind people that if it was so easy why are there only a limited number of 9 second gen v's.

I apologize for ruining it for all you slow azz clowns...:happy0180:

Well stated.... many just don't understand all that it takes. More TIME always helps!
