Anyone got pictures of bumper lips? Painted, carbon? I'm looking to get a lip and I wanted to see what people have.

Nice looking lips guys! I like that GM Z28 version without the extended struts. I think with the struts it's too track looking for me. However I do like the OE splitter's round edge better. Not judging on any one's style, appreciate you guys put up all the options. Keep them coming I wanna see more! ^.^

I was so noob that I just realized yesterday I have a 14-15 bumper. I have a 12 version and smashed my bumper, and got a 14-15 bumper conversion with head lamps and for the whole time I thought 15 is 6 gen lol
So will my 14-15 bumper fit these lips?
This is my bumper, I didn't buy this lip, I was just there for test fitment. I haven't got it painted yet, planning to get the lip and paint everything together. But I like the rounded edge lips, anyone got more options?

Is that a carbon fiber version?

Matt

Hey Matt, that's unpainted polyurethane material for both the bumper and lip. I was at Ikon Motorsports because they need a car to do test fitment on the 14-15 conversion bumper, and I got that bumper for a discount. I still haven't paint it yet, once I get paid at the end of the month I'd like to get a lip and have everything painted all together.

Demon, did you buy that direct from GM or did you procure that from a supplier?

ED - who makes that Z/28 style lip you provide?

Extreme Dimensions 05-19-2016 10:08 AM

We do! We make it in Duraflex and Carbon Creations.

Direct from Maureen at Rodgers. Real OEM. All the hardware and brackets are separate though (got those from GM parts direct separate). Splitter was $340 I believe when I bought it. The brackets, bolts, etc, will run another $175-$200. You will need the brackets for sure though as it mounts to the crash bar and it is not going anywhere. It is really on there!

They also make the revised Gurney extensions to fit the non Z28 cars like ours. These attach to where the factory wheel well flares would on a "Z", but they make a huge difference in how that flows together. Those alone were $165 I think.

Mikalala - if you have a factory V6 14-15 bumper the OEM splitters will work. Some also have replicas that will fit the stock bumper as well. The Z28 one like mine is made for the V8 bumper from GM. If the bumper pick you posted that also has the same splitter on it a few posts up is your set up, then the splitter pictured should work. Most of the time there is a difference between the V6 and V8 from facia in terms of overall design that make those unique to the models. Same with 2010-2013 and 2014-2015 having different molds and shapes.
