First front end scrape

Wife had the car out today and misjudged a curb and rubbed about a 4 inch place on the front facia just above the black rubber moulding..

When I came home wife came out crying like someone had died and began to sob...I thought someone was killed or something very serious...She felt so bad that she did the damage to the car...

No big deal..its low and hard to see and I have a friend who owns a shop and can fix this easily...I love my car..but nothing like how much I love my wife...

It's very easy to do in this car- believe me!

I'm running around with a similar scrape, and have yet to have anybody notice. It's so low you wouldn't see it unless you were under the car. Debating between getting it fixed and getting a front splitter to cover it up. Nearly the same cost.

Thanks Guys...she is my 2nd wife and yes they do cost a fortune to get rid of them....at 57 she looks early 40s...and at 5 ft she has a problem with the right front corner seeing it just right...

Not sure on the splitter as she might knock that off just as easily...but not a bad idea..

Phone book and front mounted curb feelers. Problem solved.:yikes:

My wife is uber paranoid about doing curb blocking the nose too, because it's her car.
