I was at Disneyworld Orlando today with my family and visited the GM display at the "Test Track" ride
I got talking with a really good GM guy called Josh at the display area and we got talking about the new Camaro.
Josh told me that they will have a new Camaro (probably aqua blue) there arriving between Tuesday and Christmas day - taking pride of place in their display down there...... Typical ! As of Tuesday I will be back up in NC :-(
But for anyone who is at Disneyworld - go check out Test Track after Christmas day and hopefully you will see what we would all really like to find on Christmas morning !

I'll be there in May. It better be there then. I recently honeymooned at Disney World and Test Track was the highlight of the week (besides the other obvious stuff...).

Is it going to be Removed after that??? or is it staying indefinately??.... im back home now but might make a trip back up just to see it =)

I was just there at Disney as well saturday and sunday, I live 40mins from Orlando and whent to the teast track ride on saturday and talked to Josh as well.

Josh seems like a popular guy.


Did anyone find out if the car will be there past christmas break or if its only there for a short while??

Hey guys its Josh over at Test Track at Epcot. I can COMFIRM that we have just recieved our Camaro. We just got it in earlier today and it should go out on the floor tomorrow morning (Tuesday 23rd) or Wednesday(24th) at the latest. We are hoping to have it until February but as it is only a Preproduction loaner we can not guarentee it will stay till then. Pics to come later 2nite.

Bet it's red ;) ....nevermind

So I'm checking January/February cast member hotel rates now...

Sweet! an LS! A nice throwback with the steelies. And finally some non photoshopped steelies on a camaro w/o fogs too.
No matter what trim level you get it will look kick a$$

Can you record a video of it with the engine running? Maybe with a couple revs of the engine? Even if you have to use your cell phone that would suffice.

Steel wheels look really nice on the car!

Love those steelies. Wish I could get something like that for the SS other than the absurdly oversized 20 inch wheels.

i'm really diggin the beauty ring look on the steelies. i'd rather have a smooth bumper instead of capped fog light holes (i know. not cost effective), but it still looks awesome!

Sorry........ not a fan of those wheels at all :barf: I'm glad some of you like it though :) The rest is looking great!!!!! These are the first pics of an LS trim are they not????

^^ yep! now all we need is gray interior, GMPP colored dash kits, ambient lighting, and, of course, CGM!

Unfortunately they are really strict about startin it up, so thats a no go on the video. The V6 sounds sick tho!

Im glad yall like the steelies. I will try to take a close up tomorrow if i can cause we cant have our phones out "on stage" where the guests are.

And yes it is an LS and unfortunately because it is a preproduction model i cant post any pictures of the inside.

Thanks for these photos! The more I see of the Aqua Blue Metallic, the more I like it! I do want to ask you a question about the color though. Does it look straight blue, or does it kind of change color a little into a greenish blue?

One other thing...I sure like the 18" size wheel/tire. I'd love to be able to get the aesthetics of the polished 20" wheels but in an 18" size, while having 'em still being able to handle the Brembo's!

I was just there last week, and bought some camaro t-shirts. i talked to josh too!! haha. Thank god my dad works at Disney and i can go whenever, i'll see if i can go tomorrow. This is freaking awesome!!!!!! I can't wait to see the 2SS/RS Red Jewel in my garage.

Folks that aren't digging the steelies, please keep in mind they aren't a fashion statement. I think the people who are impressed by them are the ones who realize that as far as base-model wheels go, they measure up very well.

Just food for thought.

Dangit! I was there on Saturday!! Just missed it. I have annual passes and go at LEAST once a month. Guess I'm going back down again real soon. I have been going to Test Track every visit to see if the Camaro would make an appearance.
Since Aqua Blue is one of the two color choices for me I need to see it in person. I know they had a Hummer in Inferno Orange (my other color choice) so at least I got to see the COLOR at Test Track.

I'm pretty sure those pictures confirm it. ABM is my color choice when I choose my Camaro.

God, even in base trim, this car looks outstanding.

Wow our first LS. Very cool. This is the best looking base car I have ever seen. I thought the mirror were supposed to be black on the LS? It's a nice touch that they're painted.

That V6 looks mean. Those steelies aren't nearly that bad.

Ok sorry about havin to take the pics down before but heres some more pics of it on stage. We just put it out tis morning. It does have a slight greenish hint to the blue color in the light and it looks really good. The pictures just dont do justice. Unfortunately i dont have any pics of it outside in the sun. Again sorry about the poor quality of the pictures.
