Is there any way to track new orders at the assembly plant? Red Jewel Tint

Through your dealer.

The Inventory manager at the dealer should be able to give you any info you might want.

Interesting site, Dealer states at least 13 weeks, now I 'm going to sell the 1995 Z28 that I also waited 12-13 weeks for. Only has 79,400 miles on it.

Who are you working with there? Just picked my car up from there (Mike) a few days ago. Mine took 10 weeks, but they may be cranking them out a bit faster now. Best thing to do is talk to your salesman and get your event order code. I called weekly for an update. That will tell you how far along you are. There are a bunch of threads on order codes, and you can get a general idea on timing from the ones listed peoples signatures.

Working with Mike too. 2SS/Red Jewel Tint Coat/Black interior/Auto Trans. Wanted the tan however wife liked the black with white stitching better. Trying to sell the 1995 Z28 before delivery of the new one. I'll stay in touch with Mike for updates.

I'm just north of you near Inwood (second home). You can track your order status here at the thread entitled: "All order status requests in here (up to status 3800 only)". The Viz is very good about posting your status each time you request it. The only thing you need is your order number, which you can get from your dealer. It will be something like this: "NH4VBW".

My order was placed on June 28th and shipped on August 6th. (Hasn't arrived at the dealer yet. Hoping it will arrive in the next couple of days.) So, they are making them faster and shipping them sooner.

Finally, since you are in the local area, you might want to check out the Eastern Panhandle Camaro Association. See http://www.easternpanhandlecamaro.com/.

I have been tracking my order and have a TPW of 08/17/2009 so I hope it will arrive in early September. Sounds like your dealer had an earlier allocation than mine. I will checkout the easternpanhandlecamaro.com. Thanks for the info.
