LFX Tuners — VE Table in HPT?
 

Hey everyone,

Is there a VE table for fueling on this LFX engine? Looking in HPT it seems like all of my adjustments to fueling just need to be MAF based, and the VE table is all 1 value.

Just wanted to make sure I don't have to do the MAF fail VE tune on this car, now that my MAF fueling is all in check.

VE tables shouldn't have to be touched unless you have changed cams or added forced induction. The fueling table you are probably looking at is a modifier, will have to double check.

That's what I'm hoping is the case, because nothing I view makes sense for VE. Just wanted to make sure that I only needed to add a little fuel to the MAF because my lower end was leaning out.

I'm used to the lower end being VE and the upper end being MAF with a VE overflow.

It is the multiplier table, it multiplies the airmass by that number to get the final value of how much air there is, then it uses that to get the fuel mass that needs to be added to reach the desired AFR.

If you go to Edit->Virtual Volumetric Efficiency window, then where it says VE Mode, select Manifold Switch Open, it should list out how many milligrams of air is going into the intake based on RPM and MAP pressure.
