Any Xbox 360 owners out there willing to help?

So I just got my wireless adapter for my Xbox and when I connect it, it goes online then after 4 min it disconnects. Any ideas that can fix this? Thanks.

do you have wireless surround system? If you do...turn it off and see if that helps

This doesn't really help, but if at all possible, hard wire your Xbox. It makes things a LOT better. Took me a good four hours of drilling holes and stringing Ethernet cable, but it's totally worth it. No lag, no stupidity with the wireless adapter, and saved me a lot of money.

Finally got around to hooking mine up last week ,no problems so far .
I have read that people with alot of electronics around the x box have used a usb cable to move the adapter further away to help with connection problems .

I would hard wire it but I can not drill holes in the walls at my place. The only other thing that I use the wireless for is my laptop. Ill try moving it around it just seems weird. Thanks for the feedback.

What I meant is any wireless headphones/speakers...I have wireless speakers and it wouldn't connect when I had the stereo turned on...Although wireless devices that use the connection can do the same thing....You might also try manually setting the channel on the router/devices so that you are more likely to get a channel not being used by other devices/wireless hotspots...

Also, moving the wireless antenna around should help...I used a USB extension cord and was able to get a pretty decent connection

Also try changing the Wireless channel on your router to 1,6, or 11. Other people around you could be on the same channel and causing interferance.

[Edit]Lol sorry I didnt read the post above me before writing this.
