I'm back! Yay!
 

Hello!

I sold my 2016 1LT at the end of 2020. And I miss it terribly.

I attempted to fill the hole it left with a 2022 Challenger, however fate has intervened and put me on the proper path once again as the dealer I had been working with stopped communicating, so I cut the order off.

Now I was going to just order a 2023 from my former coworkers at my local Chevy dealer... BUT I found a 2022 LT1 with all the options I had wanted; plus extras, in black (not ideal, but I'll still love it) with a 10 speed auto (for the wife, her only requirement) at another dealer about an hour away from me; set to show up in the next week or so, fresh from the factory!

SO! I have procured it, it is mine! I will once again be back in the loving (Recaro, this time) embrace of a 6th gen Camaro. But it's a proper V8 this time. And I got it for around $4K less than it should have been.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome Back to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

Received that from the salesman this morning. I knew something was up last night because the listing for the car disappeared.

I texted him asking him about it and he said "Be ready for some good news tomorrow!" And then I got this after I got to work.

Pickup day is Saturday. I'm going to be driving past the dealer on my way home from Ottawa, so I'm going to drop in and see it in person tomorrow, just as a little preview for myself.

Here's some shots of the car when we got her home last saturday! I have made some changes: added the suede knee pads, actual license plate covers instead of the goofy dealer frames, etc.

I'll probably be having some PPF put on the front end soon, and a friend of mine is going to help me ceramic coat it.

I can't believe how much fun this car is to drive. The wife loves it, she's never driven a car with this much power so she is adjusting to it.
