Looking for a little help from my Camaro friends.
 

My 8 year old son Myles is in his second year of go-kart racing. But after a bad crash last year he's lost the confidence that gave him one strong second place finish last year. I'd like to help build him up with encouragement from the Camaro5 community. He's been a car guy since day one and intetested in karting since he was 4. Today was first points race if the season, and third time in his kart this year. Thanks to your support he was quick and confident today. Unfortunately the race did result in a penalty and DNF. But in spite of that he was happy, and for the first time since last year's bad accident he was passing people. A lot. You guys are great.

Second race in and a P4 finish. Thanks guys. Now we need to struggle back from the DNF.

Take him to one of those indoor entertain carting tracks with a couple of his friends. You know the ones with the bumpers around him. His friends will talk him into getting out there and once he kicks their buts a couple times he'll get the desire back....


Glad to see he's back into it.

Third race in and he qualified first and finished second in a downpour. Was knocked back to third and had to hold off a challenge not to drop to 4th. Had he another lap or so I think he would have been in contention for first. I am convinced the support he now has thanks to some of you here has made a big difference this year. Again, my heartfelt thanks.

I'll see what I can gather. Should I post them here or send them out? Just got the latest driver standings in advance of this weeks race and he's sitting 4 out of 16. He also scored James Hinchcliff and Helio Castroneves signatures on his helmet at last weekends Toronto Indy.
