Traction control?

Is the traction control light supposed to come on all the time when ever the wheels spin? sometimes when I accelerate and the rear wheels spin the TC light doesnt flash, and i thought the book says its supposed to flash to let me know it's working. is it always supposed to activate whenever the wheels spin? I don't have any malfunction light or any indication that its not working, so dunno

On my HHR it takes a couple seconds for the TC to activate when the wheels start spinning, so maybe your wheels are not spinning long enought for the TC to activate.. but the light will come on when it does... Mine is in the DIC and says "Low traction"
