1:18 or 1:24 Scale Hot Wheels Special Edition 2SS

Any word on the street about Mattel producing larger scale Hot Wheels Special Edition diecasts? Or maybe even a plastic model kit... I'd buy a one!

Would you?

That would be awesome. :happyanim:

only if I had a 1:1 scale, otherwise no. Mainlines are sufficient.

I wish you luck, I wanted a model in my 45th but the only one I found was a 1:64 from greenlight. I made my own 1:18 tho.

The decals were ridiculous to make, I wish I could have had them laser cut. The 45 on the red was way to difficult for me to achieve with just an exacto knife. I used the old fashioned sharpie lol

Thank you guys. If you wanted to, just buy a diecast, unscrew it, a little of light sanding, prime the body, orders can of paint mixed (I bought mine from automotivetouchup.com) And give it a few coats. I also used clear coat as well. If I get really bored, I may try to design the decals on my computer and see if I can get them cut on a vinyl machine.

All I need to do it paint the wheels black for it to be my car. If I could change one thing, I should have used something to fill up the mail slot on the front, I have a 2LT not SS.
