the 2 cars ive seen do that run 10's consistantly. i dont exacly how low on fuel they were but they pull 1.6 60' or better. thats the only thing we could think of causing that. it was like right after launch they would get a good lil sputter then take back off .

Makes perfect sense to me.

when we have event here at a local airport. no track prepp i run as much fuel as i can it def makes a difference tho in consistant launchs and getting on the gas a lil harder without having to much wheelman work lol. so i can see where some like the traction vs other liking mph.

I'm definitely going to run more fuel the next time I go. I don't know for certain a full tank would have helped to much the last time out with stock tires.

For a full tank to be helpful you need to be on the other side of the power threshold. What that rwhp is I have no idea but ever since being at 550 rwhp Ted has emphasized the full tank.

On my 22s I run close to a full tank if I had smaller wheels I would leave some fuel out..I would bet most could use a proper DRAG alignment and it would do more than the amount of gas...

To most guys, you are well above the norm in terms of HP. Out of thousands of Gen5's on the road there is a small percent running 9's! So of course "big" is relative to who is saying it. But most would consider you on the bigger side. Not full BEAST mode but a good handful!

I have to race on a full tank, Any less and my 60 goes from 1.53 to 1.6-1.7

Thanks for all the replies.
This Thursday, I will give it a shot with a little more than 1/2 a tank. But temp is going to be in the low 90's, so we will see how that goes.
