** Before & After Cam Swap = 70 RWHP (no joke) **
70 Wheel hp increase by installing MTI Racing V2 Camshaft
This customer has a 2010 Camaro that he uses on a daily basis. He loves the car, but wants to add some more horsepower and handling performance. So here is what we came up with… Since he already had Kooks headers and a Cold Air intake system, we suggested the MTI Racing Stage 2 Camshaft Upgrade. It adds great power, muscular sound, and the driveability is absolutely fantastic! The car was baselined on the dyno to see what power it had with the headers and cold air. It pulled 388 Rear Wheel HP. We promptly installed our MTI Racing Stage 2 Camshaft & Valvetrain and re-dynoed the car. With tuning, the car now pulled 458 Rear Wheel HP! That is a difference of 70hp at the wheels, just from the camshaft and tuning. That is impressive. The truth: Headers & Cold Air = 388.85 hp Headers & Cold Air + Stage 2 Cam/Tune = 458.64 hp Increase of 69.79 hp Each car will respond a little different, but this is for sure…The LS3 Camaro really likes our Stage 2 Camshaft. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/j...y-Gonzalez.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/j.../Gonzalez1.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/j.../Gonzalez2.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/j.../Gonzalez3.jpg |

nice numbers... but I was a little surprised at the low numbers for the baseline..
just had a baseline done on my line week before a cam package install... car was bone stock except for borla "S" type catback. No tune and did 391rwhp/388 rwtq... with him having long tubes & a CAI i would have atleast expected over 400 for a baseline.. |
Dude! This is my car~ Picking it up tomorrow! Excited!

It is what it is...That is why we focus on the change/increase results. The driveability is excellent. Quote:
