LED resistors?

Wondering if anybody has tried anything like these?

Sell says they will work with switchback 3157 leds.

Those look plastic ...resistors give off a lot of heat, the best ones you'll see have a finned aluminum heat-sink built into it and then you attach it to a metal vehicle component of your choice ...check V-leds.com
