NEC5 All show and no go?????
 

So after having an awesome time at the RICOA and reviewing the pics and threads in our corner of C5 i noticed that there are a lot of car show threads and little to no track day drag strip or auto x day threads. Now m not saying these events/meets arent cool its always cool to put faces with forum names

BUT............................................... .................................................. .

When are we gonna hit the track???????? I mean all have the mod bug some more than others. I would assume after we all get that new performance mod installed we want to test our car out. I kidna asked around at the RICOA and it seemed like mst were down but didnt have any info.

i think more would go if they weren't always during the weeknights most of us work til 5 some of us til 9 or later at night. I'd love to go to some just don't have the time and money to travel that far from the middle of NH to go to an event i might get 1 or 2 passes on.

ha ha strait is ok too i didnt post any drag stuff because i couldnt figure out what days were open. ill have plenty of that when i transfer to guam next year. where and when do you go here

Any type of drag event would need to be a rental. Test and tune days/nights turn into hurry up and wait.

Camaro fest will have as much of both as you could want. Especially the drag racing.

As fun as NHMS is i've managed to get in for free back about 6 yrs ago when i did overnights at the shell station by the south exit it's way overpriced now. NE Dragway is great but again alot of us work weeknights.

I'm hesitant to hit the drag strip. I'ts like giving drugs to a junky.

Until you get there you never know if there will be 30 or 300 cars.
