NO NOT AWESOME....what the hell is that double spoiler crap on the back?!?! I thought it was for v6s only now it showed its ugly face on the 1LE AND the ZL1?!

if you dont know what im talking about look at the 1LE, you can see it easily because of the contrast in colors of the trunk "lip" and the spoiler.

Good to see the pics. I will say the solid flat back hood with the new hood diffuser looks better. That's probably just because the diffuser is a lot more hidden that way.

Still.....I'm trying to be a little open minded but the back end with the horrible tail lights and the new rear diffuser.:thumbdown::barf:

I still just don't get the change. I know there are people that are saying that those that don't like the new changes are just trying to justify not being able to afford an upgrade and all.....well, believe what you want. I can honestly say that there is no way I would buy a Camaro with the new styling.

The only thing that I would really love to have would be the Recaro seats. That GM did right. I hope to be able to retrofit those in my car some day.

Still so entirely unsure about the new rear. I will need to see it in person.

The "lip" isn't a spoiler..

FaytalsCamaro 04-30-2013 01:27 PM

The "lip" will cause fitment issues with current aftermarket spoilers =(

Great pics, thanks! I still cannot figure out why the rear diffuser goes halfway up the license plate spot. It just looks off.

My guess is without the reverse lights and the contours of the rear end, it would look like a big blank spot. A silverado tailgate would have more appeal to it, lol.

I'm sure aftermarket companies will be glad to make new spoilers or adjust current ones for the '14 and '15.

Still don't like it. But I do wonder why the ZL1 doesn't have the new front fascia

I read the new front end didn't "Breath" and "Cool" as good as current ZL1 front end so they kept it.

ToolFan66 04-30-2013 01:29 PM

I can honestly say now, that i do not like the new design, and I am glad I have the car I have..

JoshBobGuptaMarley 04-30-2013 01:31 PM

That rear end reminds me of my 86' toyota Cressida.

The 1LE looks good. Liking the rear diffuser too. Can't wait to see in person. May change my outlook on getting a 14.

exactly! But, Currently, I prefer the rear set up on the pre-'14 models.

TaylorRyanSS 04-30-2013 01:34 PM

The more I see the new styling more I don't like it. The only car that pulls it off is the Z28.

The 6th gen can't come soon enough.
