No warranty because I bought my Camaro from Canada?? WTF
Okay guys so I used to live in Canada and now I moved to Virginia... I went to my Chevrolet dealerahip the other day and they told me that I don't have a warranty + I can't get any extended warranty :mad0259:because I have a Canadian car :mad0260: is this even possible ??
My Milage is 23K miles .. And I also called GM Canada and they told me that I already have a warranty!! But the dealership kept saying no and it's because my vehicle has diplomatic tags and I bought it from Canada  this is so weird !!!! What should I do? Thanks |
Find a new dealer!
Warranty is warranty..its all factory backed.....dealers get re-imbursed for the repairs...most just dont want to bother because they cant over charge you..its a set price and not negotiable. They consider warranty lost time even though the factory makes good on it. |
Which VA dealer turned you down?

Try a different dealer which dealer turned you down

I'll go to another dealership .. Thanks guys!
But do they even have the right to do so? |
Try Pohanka in Chantilly, or maybe McKay in Fairfax.

I've heard this before. Vehicles moved from thier original county lose the warranty. Someone else posted on this awhile back on a vehicle moved to the middle east.

Sounds like BS to me.
|
:bs: That does not sound right, I would complain to the higher ups at GM, how can one be discriminated based on country? :iono:
