Legal in Virginia? :[

I am sure these are stupid questions but I am new at this.

1) Any sound clip or video with audio to hear what these sound like?
2) Will they work on the automatic (L99?)?

high flow cats i think...

From what I understand, it is illegal to mess with the CATS, i.e., can't move them. I don't see how this would not be considered moving the CATS, therefore, fail inspection if the inspector takes the time to visually examine the underside.

Most if not all long tube headers are considered "off road" and will never have a CARB #. Take a look at the recent edition of GMHTP and Chris Werner's article on header upgrades to his 4th gen SS. He explains that the length of the tubes, which moves the cats back, causes them to fail cold-start emissions since the cats take too long to heat up. If you live in an area, oh say like the Shenandoah Valley of Virgina, where there are no emmisions tests then this is not an issue.
Regardless, these look like a very nice setup with some nice power gains.

WOW!!!! more increase than what I expected!!! I was planning on getting these anyway but this just sealed the deal. Im sure the price is going to be up there but I think it will be well worth it. Great Work!!!! I cant wait!! The only reason Im buying aftermarket exhaust is for the sound!

Then do some shopping around.. Your average mom and pop garages are more up tight than most dealerships. you can go to places like Pohanka Chevrolet, and they will do the emissions test with the standard process. If it passes, it passes. If it fails, it is because something needs fixed or replaced.
