Damn...bump for a good deal!

FINALLYSATISFIED 09-08-2010 09:31 AM

I should have gotten a 2010, :) Another bump for a good deal!

nachocheese 09-08-2010 10:20 AM

Do you have any 2010's left. I only saw 11's on your availability page.

Mason44 09-08-2010 01:55 PM

I would like to thank CamaroScotty for the information on this. I just went to my dealer and asked them about this and they had no clue that gm was offering. So after a few minutes of them looking it up, they came up to me and told me I would be getting this since I'm not picking my car up till mondey.

skraemer 09-08-2010 02:00 PM

So $1500 off in addition to the $1000 we already get if were GM employee?

and by $1500 off....I mean we can use it on accessories

el ess A 09-08-2010 02:03 PM

Bonus!!

The Dark Knight 09-08-2010 02:09 PM

I try to post things as soon as I can - I know it can help somebody out! :chevy:

lbheat 09-11-2010 03:30 AM

This would only be available to new 2010's and not used 2010's, correct?

CamaroScotty 09-11-2010 04:50 AM

only new remaining 2010 dealer inventory. If a dealer doesn't have many, they can trade fairly easily for one, there are many out there!

I live in Southern California. So there's really no 2010 Camaro's that I want or if there is one its outrageously marked up. The best or "true car cost" are everywhere to the east of me. Is there any way you can work with me in getting the Camaro I wanted for what that Camaro is truly worth?

Based on this deal I would look for:
1. SIM, Summit White, or VR
2. RS for sure
3. 2LT for sure
4. Sunroof for sure
5. Polished Upgrade wheels (not needed 100% but it would be good if it had it)
6. Automatic

Thanks!

CamaroScotty 09-11-2010 04:37 PM

I sent 25 I may be able to get to your email.

montej23 09-18-2010 08:17 AM

So this incentive what do you get to choose and how does it work or something

spurscar 09-18-2010 08:21 AM

I would assume you get one of the packages, or you can choose what you want piece by piece, up to $1500 worth. And maybe make up the difference if you go over $1500?

montej23 09-18-2010 01:34 PM

so am i reading this correctly 1000 off and 1500 accessories

montej23 09-18-2010 01:35 PM

so i could be looking at 1500 dollar accessories, perferred pricing minus 1000 also minus 750 usaa?

CamaroScotty 09-20-2010 02:06 PM

You can get any accessories up to $1500 - the packages are just "examples". This is on top of your best deal.

Outbackfarmer 09-20-2010 07:38 PM

This works like a charm. I made my best deal on a 2010 camaro at a dealer in Lincoln NE. Then, thanks to Scotty, pm'ing this deal I also got $1500 in accessories! I went with the off road exhaust, fuel door, cargo mat, and floor mats. They were suppose to deliver the car last Friday, but when the accessory deal was done, they postponed delivery until this week. Still dont know what day this week, but I am pumped! Planning on driving it to Denver Sunday for the Broncos/Colts game. 700 miles round trip, should be fun.

THANKS AGAIN SCOTTY!

SlowSS 09-20-2010 07:51 PM

If I just recently purchased my 2010 on 9/6/2010. Would I still in some way be able to take advantage of this. The car was new. Please let me know

The dealer did not let me know anything about this!!

Outbackfarmer 09-20-2010 10:08 PM

I dont think this incentive came to be until 9/8/10. So I think if your paperwork was completed prior to that date, you would not qualify. Go back to the dealer ship and see....worst they could do is tell you no.

You're welcome!

I'm always trying to keep people informed, even if they aren't buying from me :chevy:

Anyone else think it's weird that GM is charging $1,131 for a $300 MTX subwoofer enclosure? :)

BAD DAB 09-22-2010 02:02 PM

I got my Camaro SS on 8/13/10, does that qualify my for the $1500 incentive?

brandotron 09-22-2010 02:06 PM

Man, I wish I could pull the scratch together in time. That's a killer deal!

not really they want to make money from those who don't know better I guess.

as for the op that is a sweet deal I should have waited to get my 2010, but then i would have missed out on the best driving months of the year.....

ponbigi 09-22-2010 02:20 PM

Scotty, I am going to toss this out here just for laughs and giggles to see if it can actually be done. Girlfriend loves my new camaro and wants one. We financed this one but have an 2005 acura RSX TYPE S fully loaded 86K Very well kept, meaning dead on synthetic oil changes ever 3k, regular maintenence, very clean, very fast for a 4 banger ricer. Very popular car. We need to minimum get 16k on the trade in for this to work car is owned free and clear - have about 5 to 6k in cash to put down - would take a 2010 camaro without having to put more then 6k down and no financing. Could you do that deal?

CUPRA 09-22-2010 02:30 PM

Very nice incentive, that's for sure, but I still think it's worth holding out and getting a 2011 for the HUD alone. I get in a car now that doesn't have it and feel all deflated and 'out of date'!

The HUD in the 2011's (2SS/2LT) was such a great move on GMs part!

ArkySS 09-22-2010 02:40 PM

Dangit retro! I am only a year late...

kkonopasek 09-22-2010 03:01 PM

Hate to see deals like that after I already bought one! But at least I got the car sooner than later.

cam fan 09-22-2010 10:03 PM

AH! Help! I have been waiting since July for my 2011 2LT/RS RJT w sunroof. I ordered the red car cover, matching engine cover etc. and they are all sitting at the dealer. Now I want to say, "screw it" and search for a 2010 match to those criteria just for the deal. What do you suggest?

(My car is "stuck in Oshawa" according to Chevy, CamaroTracker and the dealer...then I have to wait on the railyard and delivery trucks - HELP PLEASE!)

SamSS 09-22-2010 10:38 PM

wow this is such bs, i feel ripped off now, and i got my ss the end of november.

Seriously and on top of that i paid MSRP last november...:mad0260:

dmwhiteman 09-23-2010 07:07 AM

I have been going back and forth with my dealer about this incentive. Hes trying not to give it to me. Is there a way to order directly from GM? I plan on doing the installs myself to take full advantage of the $1,500.

Chrisrp454 09-23-2010 08:08 AM

You really think GM cares? Don't expect a bone to us folks that helped pull em out of the dump!

whamslam3 09-23-2010 08:12 AM

is this only if we order from you or are other dealers doing it?

leonardo 09-23-2010 10:05 AM

sweet deal !!! I already placed my order for my 2011 IOM, plus I MUST HAVE the new HUD so no incentive can make me change my mind lol

ponbigi 09-23-2010 10:34 AM

The hud is pretty tight. Is that something that can be added on? I got a 2011 year model LS
