Underbody Panels?
Anyone know if anyone has put underbody panels on their SS?
http://www.nissanusa.com/gt-r/#/key-.../aerodynamics/ Just curious to see if there is anything out there for us. The air can't touch what it can't see... |
I don't think that there are any for the Camaro. The Vette Grand Sport and I believe Z06 has them standard though.

We have a partial close out that is included with our splitter. However, we have made complete undertrays with rear diffusers (custom) for other customers. It is not legal in World Challenge unfortunately.

The Corvette's are close to a flat bottom stock...but there are no real vanes or strakes under the car to move the air around on a OEM Vette.
OEM http://www.turnerautomotive.com/imag...side_001_a.jpg This was the bottom side of our GT2 car going back together....per the ALMS rules the car has to remain 100% flat between axle center lines. http://www.lgmotorsports.com/gallery...he%20floor.JPG Something similar could be done to the Camaro, but you would need to make sure air is routed around the diff, trans, and exhaust to keep things cool. The race cars are brutally hot inside, not something you want to do with a street car. |
I mainly want something for the rear diffuser area. I did a muffler delete and it's just a big empty void now. I want to direct air under the car instead in my back bumper.
