So if I understand this properly... If I place an order for one today, this soonest the dealer can order from GM in on Feb 9th? And if they don't get that it would be on Mar 9th etc?

Thanks!!!

You could just ask the dealer outright if he has an allocation. Several members here have asked their dealer. Some have said no allocation available and have directed their own customer to a different dealership who did have an allocation. Crazy but true story......................

When I bought last March I put out emails to the 10 dealers within 50 miles of me. I asked everyone of them to tell me if they had an allocation. Only one dealer answered the question up front and he admitted he had no allocation but would get one in 2 weeks and it was mine if I wanted it. But he located the car I wanted 150 miles away and I purchased instead of ordering. None of the other salesmen who called me from my original email (about 5-6 of them) would give me a straight answer about allocation. They all said "I can place an order right away" but none would volunteer that the order would sit until they got an allocation.

...Ask the question ...

"Do You Have Available Allocation?"

If a dealer's allocation came up last week but I was not in town to come and order, and I out the order in next week. Will their allocation from last week still be good to go?
Or will it not get picked up until the next DOSP cycle?

It will be the next DOSP. The last DOSP closed Tuesday.

Unless the dealer submitted some kind of order for you and had allocation.

My dealer was supposed to order my 2SS on Dec 22. Does this mean he had to wait until today to put the order in since last week was all ZL1's?
