30.1 MPG with Supercharged LS3

Yes, you saw that and here's the visual proof.

This is my mileage showing on 94 north of the 94/90 split coming back from Milwaukee approaching Chicago. I had the cruise set to the speed limit in each area (65MPH and 55MPH). Windows down with moderate winds. Temp reading outside showed ~82°F the whole trip back.

Not bad for a supercharged large V8 pulling a 4000 lb tank..

Thats just because you were running 22 inch tall tires..;)

Just kidding, that is awesome man! Very, very nice!:w00t:

Not all that surprised. Cam, supercharger and exhaust I was getting 28mpg going to maryland once. Now with the fuel system I have it sucks haha.

Before all my mods + tune, I would only get 24-25MPG. After all that, I can get ~27MPG at 65MPH and this was after driving 55MPH a ways. This is on the stock 20" wheels/rubber, stock rear ratio and TR-6060 tranny.

Its in the tune. Don't wanna share my secrets ;) plus going 65 in 6th gear the whole way helps. Driving around town I was able to keep it in the low 20mpg area though.

55? Heck man here in Texas it is 65 in the city 70 to 80 on the freeways. They just passed legislation to raise certain parts to 85.:headbang:

For some reason I just find it hard to keep my foot out of it.

Even before the mods I never approached 20 mpg . 14 -16 was it . BTW my LS3 Vette was way better on fuel .

Mine are wheels are 22s and I still get bad mileage.

But I can get my dash to say I'm getting 100mph. I can reset the gauge, put it in neutral and coast down a hill.

Awhile back, I was reading that Texas actually also has law where limits can be removed for some specific type of "Autobahn". however, there are none of these roads built in Texas. I can't find anything about it now through Google so maybe it was removed as a law.

Just a FYI if your car has larger than stock injectors the average fuel economy calculator is wrong.
