Well CDBiker220, did you get it? I saw it at the dealer this morning when I went to work and it was gone when I was coming home. (I didn't see the black one that was beside it either.)

Anybody able to put together a quick photoshop of an IOM Camaro with black bumblebee-style stripes and silver pinstriping around the stripes? I'd really appreciate the time and effort from anyone who tries it :)

Yup drove it home today. What a great car! I'm honestly impressed with the ride quality and overall feel. The power is even a bit better than I expected considering the weight, even though I've only got on it hard once or twice. I'll get pics tomorrow after I was and was it.

So... here's the story: I put a deposit down on 6/30 at full MSRP (no gouging) on a 2SS/RS IOM A6 Black int, GFX on order at Jim McKay Chevrolet in Fairfax, VA. Great place, Bud Carroll is the Sales mgr and a Camaro enthusiast. He was almost excited for me as I was when I broke the news that I had to cancel my order with him in order to get this one now. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the greater Wash DC Area if they have the patience. I still owe him a drive by because he wanted to see the car.

A few weeks went by and I was looking through the Spastic Squirrel database to see how rare my combo was when a 2SS IOM A6 Black int (no RS, GFX) pops up in my wifes hometown, Pittsburgh (250miles/4.5 hours) and I decide to call the place up. DAY Chevrolet had the car from an order that a lady had placed but took home a similiar model that had come in sooner. The sales mgr says, "yep, it's available...pause..." I was waiting for the " and it's $5K over sticker" finish to his sentence.... but instead he says.. "were selling it for $500 over sticker" . My jaw dropped... I said, "Well, then I want to buy that car... where do I send the check." That was Tuesday July 28th; my wife FedEx'd a deposit check our that afternoon which arrived Wed and we drove up Friday night. We spent the night at the In-Laws and promptly went to the Dealer 9am Sat. I made a video of the experience of first seeing the car and a few moments of the trip back by myself here Capstone's Camaro Trip

Anyways... here are a few pics. I'll update everyone as I make MODS. You can click the pics below for even bigger shots!

man! I can't wait i just ordered an orange 2SS with orange interior trim, sunroof and the midnight wheels....

the only problem is that i have to wait until NOV or DEC......
