I've Stopwatch it over and over and it sounds like a 12.3 second 1/4 mile time to me!

That would make it about the same as a C7.. So, I'd say maybe a 12.5 or something. I could easily live with that. :)

It also sounds like a 3.91 gearing since we reach mid gear in 4th

this is assuming its a 1/4 mile run and not just some dude driving away from the mic :iono:

As you can hear it, the mic is fix on the rear bumper, otherwise you would of hear the sound fade away in the distance.

well, the car is running 12.3 seconds from the moment it starts to the time he lift the pedal and hit the brakes hard...so 1/4 mile or not, it's a 12.3 sec from 1st to mid 4th gear acceleration.

C6 SS with LT1 and 3.91 gears = 12.3 1/4mile!
Make sense.

Aren't Stingrays running 12.2-12.3? I don't see how a Camaro weighing 400+ lbs would be running the same time with the same engine.
