Showstopper Front Splitter Installed

It is a lot more complicated to install than it looks lol. It took about 3 hrs with the help of my friends dad who works on cars a lot. But I do think it turned out great, it looks OEM

whamslam3 10-10-2010 07:53 PM

i like the subtlety of it how much was it? i would like to see that with the rest being street scene.

TaylorRyanSS 10-10-2010 08:08 PM

Thanks. It was $250.

Indpowr 10-10-2010 08:12 PM

Nice, just watch parking curbs or that will be 250 in the trash

TaylorRyanSS 10-10-2010 08:19 PM

I know. Its still hard to judge the curbs even though I have had the car for 6 months lol. I just have to park way back just to make sure.

If/When we do something we are going to back in 99% of the time...LOL

TaylorRyanSS 10-10-2010 08:25 PM

I probably should back in. I do sometimes but if I should do it all the time now so I do not wreck the splitter.

The hard part was trying to tighten the bolts that are connected to the spacer things. You have to get your hands behind the lower grille which is hard since the slits are tight. Plus there are 23 bolts total so it took a while to undo the rubber piece and bolt on the spiltter.

Buffnshine 10-10-2010 10:22 PM

well sounds more secure than the OEM
