I bought it as an impulse buy and I don't want it. I might get a green one or just stick with an All Black Billet Emblem. It's never been used and would look great someones Camaro!

wanna do business again? lol my question is that since its blue and not red...i would need to wire it so it comes on with my lights but doesnt illuminate with the brakes...where do i begin with that?

how easy is the stock bowtie removal?

or i could just wire it to my toggle switch for my footwell LEDs

Well getting these bowties to illuminate with brakes is actually harder, so your job would be a hell of a lot easier. Just tap into the right side brake lights. and bingo. You have lights that turn on whenever your headlights are on :D

Tap into the purple wire that goes to your tail lights. That is the power source for your running lights.

are you going to be wanting this light on all the time? you cant really see this light on in the day. and you would have to find a power source that is always on and that would prove quite difficult.

You might as well wire it as a brake light so that it is on when your brake lights are on. Also note that brake lights are always on as soon as your headlights turn on, so effectively the bowtie would automatically turn on at night and stay on.

Or you can wire it as a brake light where it is dim and then brightens when the brakes are pressed but that requires a lot more work and a dual circuit.
