Conti ExtremeContact DWS

I am looking to get a set of tires ASAP and I have heard good things about the ExtremeContact DWS tires. How much have you guys been spending on these and where have you been getting them? Im looking into getting either 305/35-20 or 295/40-20 for the rear (10") and 275/40-20 for the front (9"). Do you guys recommend any other tires for a person who is an aggressive driver on the road yet does not go to the track or anything too often, like <3-4 times a year. Thanks for the help!!!!

I bought the Conti Extreme Contact DWS for my SS last year. I bought the same sizes as the OEM tires (245s on front and 275s on back, I think) from Tirerack and had them shipped to a local installer. I like the tires alot.

As an added bonus, I must have hit something on the road, and it cut the inner sidewall of my rear tire. I was really pissed (since I just bought them), and when I contacted Continental, I found out they had a 12,000 mile/ 1 yr replacement guarantee. All I had to do was pay to ship the old one back, and then sent me a brand new one. I think I paid around $900 for 4 tires, and it cost about another $25 per tire to get them mounted and balanced.

I just bought them for my Subaru Legacy GT and they seem pretty good. Really good in the rain compaired to the Falkens I had on there. They bite pretty well but with AWD I never have a problem with launch but for the price I got them at ($100 a tire) I am more then happy with them. I would say they are at least equal if not better then the Pirelli PZero Nero M+S that I once had. Those were nice tires

Thanks!!! I just can not seem to find somewhere that has them in stock now... I can not find either of the tires I want. They either do not have the sizes I want (the BFG g-force T/A KDW's) or they are not in stock (the Conti's). I have wheels that will be here soon and I would like tires but can't seem to find any...

You can add tiresdirect.com to the list.

A lot of places are on back order and have been for a while. I have to go to a 315/35-20 on the rear to get the front and back tires because a lot of the places are on back order.

Finally got them! WWW.tiresdirect.net had the 275/40-20 in stock and those were the hardest to find ANYWHERE!!! So I got those for the front and the 315/35-20 on the back! I can not wait to get them in to put them on the new rims and get them on the car! Thanks for the help, everyone!

Any feedback on how the Conti's hold up to track days. I am looking to go to these once my Nitto Invos are finished. I am not looking for the ultimate grip but a good tire that can serve as a daily driver and the occasional track day without the track day completely demolishing it. I am happy with the Nittos so far but the local tire shop I deal with can't get them because they sell Toyo (Nitto's parent comapny so they have to sell one or the other but not both) but they also carry Conti's and these Extreme Contact DWS's seem to get good feedback.
