Doug Thorley Shorty Headers for 2010 Camaro Installed -WOW!
 

I purchased the headers from Muzi Chevy and had them installed there as well.

[pic] Here are Doug Thorley Shorty headers installed..

Wow what a difference - You feel it in the seat of your pants. No real difference in idling (sound); however, under load it makes a slight difference in the sound (more rumble), and I still have the stock Cat-Back system.

Looks good. I'm still waiting for SLP to produce their shorties...so I can get a good idea for comparison.

what was the price tag installed by the GM guys?

I did not expect to see that much of an improvement with shorties! At 4500 RPM looks like you are making about 35-40HP over stock (where the torque peaks), which is impressive. Did they do any tuning? Congrats, great results! Look great too!

Your talking 17 hp and 35 lb torque from shorties through stock exhaust and cats.

The Stock manifolds can't be that bad.

Something sounds off here, Not knocking DT, they make nice stuff, although it is mild steel with Ceramic coating, rust is inevitable.

We need more info here, weather conditions on before and after test, water temps air temps tuned or stock cold air kit or stock, miles broke in or not.

Please don't be offended, when you post numbers like this they need to be accurate and believable, not the highest against the lowest.

Very nice ... If I go back to shorties for any reason, I'll be doing these with a complete magnaflow system.
