Camaro Now's review of Camaro5Fest IV...ouch.

Did anyone catch the article/review that CamaroNow did on the recent Camaro5Fest IV? I wasn't present for this year's event, but it seemed on par with what I had others tell me that I know of who attended the event that it just felt a little lack luster this year and the years prior felt not as organized as the one that took place in Phoenix a few years back. In my opinion, I agree with what the editor wrote stating that a change in venure will help as I wasn't a big fan of the event being held inIndianapolis again. That turned me off from attending this year, but I am very extatic for Houston though.

What are your guys' thoughts on the article?

New Jersey would be a nice location.

It would be nice if it was in Florida, Georgia or South Carolina.

I assume it would be nice to be close to you wherever you are....

Because no one came to the Camaro5Fest 4. No one wanted to go back to Indy except people who live close to Indy. Attendance was much lower than Camaro5 Fest 3.

And it sucks for the mods that CamaroNow picked to go to the lowest performing of all Fests because now people who haven't been to Fest will read that article, and not want to go at all.

Wherever it is, there are going to be people who can't go because it's too far. It's just the nature of the beast.

I understand why Indy had to hold it again this year but I think it's pretty clear it wasn't the ideal situation.

I vote for kansas city! go chiefs

I still wanna go regardless of the article. But they gotta do it closer to MD for me to check it out. Maryland International Raceway sounds good.

Since this years was the first event I attended, I thought it was pretty good but I don't have the other events to compare it to which is kinda nice, this way I'm not disappointed.

I liked this year as well. My only advice would be to add more clinics for non-drivers. The Adam's Clinic was great, but pretty much after the first day there was no reason to come back.

I think having it in Florida would be nice. I'd travel south for that, Texas is just too far for me.

What do you mean? It's right next door to FL. I'm excited for Houston. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/29/hy6e9eje.jpg

I kinda agree with what CamatoNow says about the races though. I would love to see an elimination challenge in drag racing and something to get folks in the stands for a competition like that. I was assuming that since the COPOs had come out that a few of them would've turned out for that and it would have been such a treat to see 'em compete, even if it was only 4 that showed up.
