Looks like EA has been listening to all the CoD fans. Too bad it's made by... you know... EA.

DICE = developers
EA = publishers
FROSTBITE = game engine

Not sure what your point is.
EA owns DICE.
Even the DICE website is copyright of Electronic Arts.
Even their Twitter is "@EA_DICE".
Battlefield is an EA product.

My point is that EA are the owners to the Battlefield license, but they are not the ones making the game. The same could be said for the COD franchise. Activision is the owner, but the developers are Infinity Ward and Treyarch.

Yes, that's right... you CAN say the same thing about the CoD franchise. And you'd be right.

The producer is overall responsible for the product... perhaps even more responsible since the developer is its subsidiary.

I agree.

Not sold on this game yet. I am getting the CoD this fall. Was a huge Battlefield 2 fan and enjoyed Bad Company series. Battlefield 3 was okay. I skipped 4 and Hardline completely. I enjoyed each CoD up to 4. I liked MW 2 as well but skipped all the other games until Advanced Warfare. The game was a blast so hoping this one is too. Not a Black Ops series fan either.

I'm getting COD just for the MW remake. Might hold off on Battlefield for a bit but it does look well done.

I hope for a Battlefield Vietnam remake with the original in vehicle soundtrack! Ahh my PC gaming days!

Maybe I'm a minority... I actually enjoy the "modern" setting that BF3 and BF4 have. I'm not exactly sold on WW I or even WW II just because of the weapons - I mean the battles and scenery hell yes! - Just not the scrappy weapons.

And I haven't enjoyed COD since MW2. BLOPS 3 was a terrible rip off of Titanfall but was almost fun for a time.
