Sold My 2012 GT-R geting new 14 ZL1
 

I know some of you prob think I'm crazy BUT I really like the ZL1 its so much more fun to drive then my GT-R was.

The fit and finish are also fine for me in the Camaro to.. Anyway the GTR inside was just as simple as the Camaro had more Tech bells and whistles but not worth the 110k IMHO

I plan to do a few simple mods and wait for the new ZR1 once that comes out I guess I will see :D

This sight is great and has so much info I became an expert on the car from reading all of your great threads !!!

I also had a chance to slip into a Z51 3LT Stingray but this Camaro won me over hands down !!! I like the Stingray very much but that Motor would get
old fast as far as its power.

Welcome. The GT-R is a better performing car, but the ZL1 is a better LOOKING car hands down imo.

I would die to have any of those lol

Goodbye Godzilla and hello ZL. Nice swap and enjoy. I use to work for Nissan corporate and my first thought on the GT-R was that it had no soul. My ZL makes me giddy like a school boy every time I get in it and start it up.

Thank you everyone I agree the track performance of the GTR is fantastic.

But drive it on the street and it will wear you down its tire wine is LOUD also the ride is just plane bad. They really need to refine the car for the price it is now.

Also the fun factor is just not there I tried to lie to myself and say it was but the car drives on its own and feedback is limited at best.

Its fast as hell yes but lacks the true seat of your pants feel a lot of other cars get right...I really think they need to make it a Drivers car and they will sell a LOT more.

Looks wise you either like it or hate it I think its nice but not as nice as it should be.

I SO LIKE having a Manual again you don't know what you lose until you lose it :)

Yea it had no soul it seems like you just sit in it and let the car drive it self. It's stupid fast though but yea takes the fun out of the "car - driver" relationship.
