NGAUGE Install Custom Vent
Wanted to throw this out there and see what others thought or have done to install their NGauge. And sorry if this is the wrong spot...
This is two pieces. One that goes in place of the vent and bolts in with the 3 screws that hold it in. No permanent mods, if I want to switch back I can unbolt the mount and bolt the vent back in place. Air is fine without this vent unless the sun is baking you from the drivers side. The NGauge clips to the front of the mount the same way as the generic mount it comes with. The second piece fits into the end of the duct to seal it off. I like the flush look but I am playing with another idea that spaces the gauge out and would allow a small amount of air to escape around the perimeter of the gauge so you don't eliminate all air flow from that vent. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fc19152b77.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ac5f9553ba.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c55ad07410.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...632c718a71.jpg Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk |
Looks like someone has access to a polyjet 3D printer. Nice work!

That looks good. How much?

Thanks. I do have a little FDM style printer at home. It does okay but makes good functional parts.
Hadn't thought too much about selling them but I think 35 plus shipping would be fair. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk |

Another option and it allows you to retain some AC...

That is awesome, thanks for showing.
Wish the nGauge was smaller to be able to do something like that; but I wanted something to switch between tunes as well as monitor gauges. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk |

Might be interested in trying one of these. I like my setup now, but this looks a tad cleaner
