1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS, 350 bored .30 over. 11:1 compression. dual 600 edelbrock carbs. weiand double intake. 475 horsepower. Less than 1500 miles on engine. Jerico transmission manual 4 speed/Hurst shifter. New 373 Posi-traction rear end/12 bolt. New speedometer and fuel gauge. This car is very powerful and was built for high performance. This is not an every day driver. This is a collector muscle car. Engine, transmission, and rear end are brand new, well built by a professional, and runs perfectly. Overall, car is in great condition, however, it does have a few rust spots and interior leather is beginning to crack in one area. front right wheel rim is missing, but price concession will be given for replacement. With a little TLC this car could be in pristine condition. I am a motivated seller....make best offer!!

dad gum! if you ain't plannin on using the 2010 as a DD get this, fix the rust, install a radio & you got something that will appreciate.

GTAHVIT 12-04-2008 12:22 PM

seems like a good deal. But, I'm a little cautions about the high CR motor. and I'm not a fan of the intake.

Hmmmm.

GTAHVIT 12-04-2008 12:35 PM

Well, if you all want the truth.

I'm having the hardest time deciding whether to get a 69 or a 2010.....

It's killing me.

Nice ride...could be yours!! Low-ball him, if he takes it, buy it! Hell, if you don't like it after you've had it for a while, sell it to me!

I've been looking for a reason to kick the wife's car out of the garage anyway!

Super nice looking car....... but a toy no doubt. Unless you are Grumpy Jenkins or Smokey Yunick the dual quad setup is problamatic...but it looks good. And I wonder why someone would use the Jerico tranny instead of a rebuilt fine-spline M22 ??
Still I would love to have it.

Yeah, they are both badass cars. What are the drawbacks to an 11:1, I believe my dads roadrunner is an 11:1, I've never heard complaints from him, but thats a 440 big block.:iono:

oldbiker 12-04-2008 02:06 PM

they used that intake on 302 motors DZ blocks ...im wondering why the wheel is missing on the right side?

Camaro_Corvette 12-04-2008 02:22 PM

^I would agree with that, I think that is what he means.

I've found a few other for a bit less 15K for driveable beaters. 18K for a mint 6 cyl.... and a few other clones and customes around 20K.

Right now I am leaning towards the 2010. That makes more sense as a daily driver, which is what it will probably be. But, everytime I start looking at 69's I get all confused. :help:

And don't get me wrong about the 11:1 CR. I've just had my heart set on a blown car, and I'd have to probably pull this motor and get a crate since this has the high CR.

I know exactly how you feel about the 1969s. That's why I started that thread about the possibility of getting a Corvette. A new car would be more realistic when it comes to daily needs, but a pre-owned car would be just as much fun for less.

I'm on the fence as well. :seesaw: With the jobless rate in this country, a used Camaro or Corvette is infinitely more likely right now for me. Hopefully, you can get whichever one you really want the most.

Oh, then nevermind. I get your meaning now.
