Im thinking about heading to the Irwindale drap strip this thursday night to get times on Starsky! If anyone else here in So Cal is down to meet and get time PM me so we can exchange numbers and hopefully meet up!

It opened up again last year. Im thinking about making a trip there tomorrow.

been going there several times already. the track is good! you need to get there early like 4:00 if not you may not get alot of passes. got a 8.5 on my camaro SS

yea last time I went I showed up around 6 and it started to get crowded real quick. My best run that night was 8.7 but it was really hot and for some reason I had trouble getting traction. What mods do you have on your Camaro?

6's in the 1/8 mi are out of the question, 7's I don't believe is capable with a 426 hp LS3 with a tune and street tires also don't believe a ZL1 with street tires can go down into 7's, my best 1/4 et was 11.92 with an 1/8 at 7.98. You need slicks to get good 60 ft times with at least 500 hp at the flywheel to get in the 1/8 mi 7's.

The conversion factor 1/8 mi to 1/4 is 1.56 or 1.6 used by NHRA, any 1/8 mi et quicker than 8.59 sec will require additional safety pieces on your Camaro.
