I did not know we had smart@SS in here. Sorry about the old news. Half the posts in here are old news. Just enthusiast discussing the cars they love and every facit of them. I did not mean to bother your precious forum with old news forgive me.

It'd be interesting if GM polled it's Chevrolet Dealers to see just how many people have placed a deposit this early in the Game. That could be a real big hint to them of how many people REALLY want this car.

Sorry c48moose wasnt trying to rain on your parade there.. and really its a good thing that someone braught it back up because I cant find the original, only the one i linked in (link below).

Its good news that there is a dealership out there for the people, and that link should be bookmarked by anyone who will buy a camaro just incase we have a dealer gouge like the fords with the gt500's

You're right. 1/2 the posts are old. But, I appreciate the news and I hope you aren't deterred from posting any new info...because that article/web page was new to me and had veh dimensions, etc. along w/ other good info. You weren't a bother what-so-ever and I hope you continue to share your enthusiasm w/ us!!!

And welcome to the site!!!

Hell, I put down two deposits at different dealers. Just have to decide if I want to wait longer for the HI-PO model.

This just might be the dealership I order from! "GM Supplier" Pricing to Everyone and Anyone!" is what peaked my interest. And as far as ordering out-of-state, I had a great experience when ordering the GTO from a dealership in Illinois.

Man oh man, I want that damned car now!!

Mr. Wyndham 08-25-2007 06:19 PM

How does that work? You get it shipped from there to a more local dealer and pay a handling fee or something?

Exactly that - I had to pay a $500 delivery fee to the local dealership. That really wasn't too bad because I had gotten a great deal from the IL guys that I couldn't get here in CA.

OK - I've sent off an email to Rick to find out more info on ordering a 'Maro from him. I'm hoping for some good news!

Great find, c48moose - I'm glad you posted this info up because I somehow missed the earlier one about it.

Moose 08-25-2007 08:29 PM

First, welcome c48moose.

Second. I do not see how any dealer can accept a deposit without pricing being set yet? Every dealer I've spoken to has refused any offered deposit on the new Camaro.

I'm not disputing that there is a dealer accepting deposits - I'd just be suspicious. :iono:
