And this is truly an awesome deal, I know the CTS-V upgrade can be had for a few hundred less but this kit is above and beyond what comes from the factory with its larger diameter rotors which are drilled..

Honestly if my ZL1 didn't have six piston calipers up front I would jump on another set...

They look great...but are the stockers really that bad?
I think they feel way better then my 14 year old impala brakes lol

The stock brakes are great. I had them for my first few track days and autocross.

There are really only two reasons to change them: you are doing more track days and need the added stopping power and don't want to worry if you have any brakes to make it home. The other is strictly to change for looks:thumbsup:

I'm swapping them simply because the SS is making 700 to the tire and I want the added insurance when doing highway runs in Mexico ;) also there is a reason why they installed 6 piston calipers on the ZL1 and Z/28. I can tell you first hand that my ZL1 stops better than the SS I know a lot is attributed to the tires on the Z but the pedal feel and consistency is better also. Take it for what it's worth...
