Caliber SRT4 vs LLT

Who would win..... I was in my rental camaro 323 horsepower today and dead even with a Caliber SRT4..... at an airstrip. I remember reading those had 282 whp? But then I looked up times and 14.6 @ 100 was what came up ?

No way those are pushing 282whp, it only has 285bhp. So probably closer to 250, and its FWD so it's no rocket. It'll probably still take a V6er, but just because the turbo will be less affected at a higher DA than the 0 DA they are tested at.

Caliber SRT's tested at 14.4-14.6, but they were made from 08-09 and many are probably modded.

Your "airstrip";) results are indicative of a stock one, and seems about right.

Seems like on many automotive forums lately, hundreds and hundreds of unused "airstrips" have popped up all over the country.

Hmmm ...

Hmmm ...

It was at this abandoned airfield..... Truman's Airfield in the southwestern corner of Pottawatomie County in Oklahoma. :)

You're right. A FWD car could never be fast. Don't worry, your Camaro will always beat a Caliber.

just go to the parts counter at your local Dodge dealer and ask for the 10 second package.

Racing a rental car? For shame...

Oh and you had better hope it doesn't have a black box installed. Might have a bit of explaining to do if it does...
