BMW door handles shorting fuse #2 and breaking everything
 

Any BMW guys out there?

I picked up a 2014 BMW 535i last year for my 19 year old to drive. It's been a good car overall, but it started throwing all sorts of module-related codes this week that all seem to stem from fuse #2 blowing. Likely either the courtesy door handle features or the wiring harness that runs them. I was going to remove each handle and disconnect the harness to see if I can isolate the issue, or at the very least, get power steering working again.

If you've had the misfortune of having to deal with this, I'd love to hear your story. Maybe it will save me from learning expensive lessons.
