Need help with Carlyle racing 15" setup. Rubbing!!
I have a 2010 Camaro with Pfadt lowering springs, Carlyle racing 15" wheel kit, 15" Welds from Carlyle racing, and ET Street R Bias 28X11.50-15LT. This is my end result. Everything fits and clears fine with the suspension unloaded. Is it because I am lowered?

Not sure. put an 3/16 wheel spacer on and that should give you enough room. you will have to put on longer wheel studs. I have carlyles 15 inch kit and that is what I do.

I have carlyle kit and 15" welds. Im lowered 1.25" on Pfadt springs. I run a 275 60 with no issues. I tried a 325 50 and it hit the lower control arm. The 275 is ~10" wide and the 325 is ~ 11" wide. I would say your tires are too wide.

The R bias 28x11.50-15LT is only 8.8 wide. not sure what is wrong. with the 3/16 spacer I run a hoosier 29x10.5W slick which is 11 inches wide with no problems. have done 1.41 60 foots and 9.56@144mph in the 1/4 mile.

What do you mean by lowered? You are lower than stock?
I am running MC kit + Welds or Race Stars in the back. Both clear no problem. I'll look for a good pic, but right now I have my car pretty low in back. Measure from the center of the rear fender lip to the ground... 29 inches? |

I will also call Carlyle when I get a chance. I was just seeing if anybody else was having the same issue or not. Another question. Where are you guys placing your wheel weights? |
I placed mine on the inside side of the wheel. I had them on the outside side of the wheel and they hit the calipers.

can't put wheel weights on the back of the inside barrel.

Well this is interesting... Buying these LCA's soon, haven't seen this issue before though...

How low is OP's car? Really slammed?
|
I will take some measurements tonight and we will see how low compared to others. Carlyle said I was the first to have an issue he thinks I am too low as well. I am going to send him more pics when I get a chance. I am in the process of packing and getting ready to move so time is limited.
