12 second Kia wow!

FWIW, the mustang GT export models are detuned. If im not mistaken, to the tune of 410HP

frankwjr 03-15-2018 04:02 PM

kinda sad regardless...

I recently went to a Kia stinger event in my area and had a chance to drive one around a course. They are impressive cars for sure. Good straight line bite but even better handling. 0-60 in those cars are about 4.7.

Maybe the mustang needs a driver mod :iono:

*this... impressive, sure... I’ll wait for a different driver to test it... no clue how well this tester is at drag racing...

Maybe for the ‘press’ recognition?

Put a tune on the stinger, then it'll be fast. It's still a Kia though

That is hard to believe. At the end of the day you are driving Kia they are very unreliable/undependable vehicles to own and Kia’s resale value is the worst in the car market right next to Hyundai.

ive never owned either and ive never driven a kia, but the company i work for had a brand new 2013 hyundai sonata that we would use for anyone that needed it for business use and then we traded it in for a 2016 (sonata as well)

not one single problem and the 2016 now has 67K miles. no issues

not trial to derail the thread but the quality on those cars has really improved over the years. i know that kia stole away a few of lexus' designers

you can tell but the styling on the 2015ish and up kias. it wouldnt surprise me that they are trying some of lexus' quality control practices

fellas, the muscle car/performance battle is alive and well and has far surpassed the 60's horsepower wars. we are living the second heyday of the performance automobiles. Run what you brung.

The lead engineer on the Stinger is from BMW.

These truly are great times for horsepower. :)

sounds like a good combo. for kia's sake, hopefully they dont have the electrical issues that bmws have past the 60K mark
