New Dodge Challenger
|
man very nice videos. But i did not like the paint job
|
That's pretty cool to finally see the Challenger start up and move. I was actually suprised when it began backing out and I said, "sweet. blue paint." Then, I saw the red and white. Nope, not my choice of paint design. Still a good video. Happy to see it's working for them. Good find.

I like the retro paint scheme on that race car. I wonder if that is at SEMA this year? Maybe that is where the footage came from...

I have to hand it to Dodge. This is one bad@ss car. Even if it does weigh in at 4,100lbs, it's pretty cool. Yeah...if the Camaro wasn't coming out and I did need a new car and used wasn't an option...this would be my new ride (if it was within my price range, of course). |
Yeah it's my second choice. I'd love to see one in that dark purple they used to have.

It's still a Dodge. ;)

That particular car was at SEMA last year. It debuted the 392 HEMI race crate motor. On another note. The orange concept actually has a one-up on the Camaro concept(shame). It isn't limited to 40mph. Motor Trend drove it about 8 months ago and mentioned getting to beat the snot out of it. The cover has the car being chased by two cops and is titled "Vanishing Point". I think they let the original stunt driver from the movie(not the remake) drive it too and compare. It was definitely made for production. The production version will be unveiled in February at the Chicago auto show. They have spy photos of pre-production bodies at the Brampton, Ontario plant (where they built the 300, Charger, Magnum) on autoblog. Don't worry it has a B-pillar too.

actually that is not a challenger. it is a dodge magnum wagon with a fiberglass challenger body shell on top of the floorpan and firewall. I saw in one of the mopar magazines showing them build it. on a side note the body shell on that car is based on the preproduction body pieces that will be on the production car.
and I still want one  |
Yes. Also there's a Charger SRT8 running around somewhere with a Challenger front end on it. I guess it's to test the cooling capabilities of the front end.
