Only thing that bugs me about this color is the metallic looks like water spots to me in many pics of it I've seen.

In the shade, pretty close. In the sunlight the metallic really pops.

I love black but fear the up keep .... does coating make it easier ? Like Derwin's etc ?

Metallic black is much easier. Anything metallic will hide swirls better, it's the non metallic black cars that are a pain to keep up with.

I agree. Considering this color myself. Currently straight black in the order. Need to decide soon!

By the way Gearhead, I like your Chevelle. When I was a teen, I had an 67 SS396 Chevelle built by Motion Performance. Used to ride around with M&H wrinkle wall slicks back in the day. Big time GOAT eater:thumbsup:
